February 2020 | Bridal Shower Giveaways | KCK Soapery

Thank you "I" for thinking of me for your bridal shower giveaways.

We decided to give it a rustic yet feminine look and came up with a flowery kraft paper "I" already have on hand and finished the wrapping by using a lace to tie it all up.

These were made using melt and pour technique sprinkled with dried flowers and scented with Gingered Bergamot described as an exotic fragrance with citrus top notes of bergamot surrounded with nuances of freshly ground ginger combined with notes of Sandalwood, Cedar, Indian Patchouli, and Sweet Basil.

I hope everyone who receives them will love them!

January 2020 | Valentine's Giveaways | KCK Soapery

Thank you "S" for deciding to make my soap as your Valentine's giveaways this year.  As I was searching for an inspiration for this Valentine's giveaways, I came into an article that described this technique as "hybrid" soap.  It is absolutely nice to know that we now have a name to this kind of soap making style.  It is made using both the melt and pour (glycerin) soap and the cold process soap.

This batch is scented with Gingered Bergamot described as an exotic fragrance with citrus top notes of bergamot surrounded with nuances of freshly ground ginger combined with notes of sandalwood, cedar, Indian patchouli, and sweet basil.  The cold process base is made using my favorite recipe which includes Olive oil, Coconut oil, Palm oil, Shea butter, Castor oil, and Mango oil.

Thank you for stopping by!

January 2020 | Gingered Bergamot | KCK Soapery

This batch is made for a sweet baby girl who just turned one!
Thank you "L"

It is made with melt and pour or also called glycerin soap.  Perfect for when you don't have 4 to 6 weeks of curing time for the cold process soap making. I hope everybody who's going to receive these giveaways will love them.

These are the number 1's just out of the mold.

Made a batch with pink base and white number and vice versa.

Out of the mold.

Scented with gingered bergamot described as an exotic fragrance with citrus top notes of bergamot surrounded with nuances of freshly ground ginger combined with notes of sandalwood, cedar, Indian patchouli, and sweet basil.

Thank you for visiting my soapmaking blog!

May 2015 | Yellow/Black Graduation Favor Soaps | KCK Soapery

This batch was ordered by a friend for her daughter's graduation party favor.  These are full sized cupcakes.

Melt and pour diplomas made a few days ahead.

Ingredients used were  Olive Oil, Palm Oil, Coconut Oil, Rice Bran Oil, Castor Oil and Mango Butter.  Colors used were titanium dioxide for white, activated charcoal for black and yellow micas.

Cupcakes done.

Attached the diplomas.

I made four batches to complete the number of cupcakes ordered.

These were the colors I was aiming for the whole project.

But like all handmade soaps, even if you used the same recipe and tried to fill the piping bag the same way,  they just don't come out of the bag the same way.  Here you see some of the cupcakes having more black, others have more yellow and some turned gray and light yellow.

Congratulations to my college friend,  a colleague on our very first job after we got our licenses.  She now have a graduate and I hope she and her friends will like these soaps.
